Application

• TMG 160 is used as an eco-friendly and inorganic-tin catalyst in the production of polyester resins and oleo chemicals.The product possesses a high level of catalytic activity which leads to almost complete conversions with short reaction times, especially at higher reaction temperatures (>180°C) and which enables the production of light-coloured esters. Secondary reactions do hardly occur in comparison to acidic catalysts.
• TMG 160 is not corrosive.
• The quantities of TMG 160 generally used for esterification processes are between 0.06-0.1%.Having finished the reaction,it can be removed by chemical treatment or adsorption with TMG TINEX-products.
